The DIV's delegation pays a working visit to the Deposit Protection Office (Laos)

On April 20th, the Seminar and Lesson exchange between the DPO and DIV took place with distinguished guests from the Bank of Laos (BoL), the board of management and officials of related departments and divisions of the DPO.

At the seminar, the DIV’s representative presented the differential premium system and its application in Vietnam; DIV’s regulations and practices related to DI payout and payout simulation. With a variety of experiences, the informative presentations of two DIV speakers attracted the attention of the participants; and are a useful source of reference to further enhance these professional activities at DPO Laos.

On the sidelines of the event, two top executives talked, together reflected on the long-standing and sincere relationship between the DPO and DIV over the past time. On behalf of the DIV, Mr. Dao Quoc Tinh – DIV’s General Director, believed that the relationship between the DIV and DPO would become more robust through cooperation activities; and the two organizations committed to supporting each other in multilateral activities.

Following the seminar in Vientiane, the DIV’s delegation, in collaboration with the DPO, paid a working visit to the BoL’s Branch in Luang Prabang. The executives of the related parties had a talk discussing the status of the organizations and conducted a field trip on the contents related to the credit institution system and depositor protection policy in Luang Prabang.
